Hi, and a very warm welcome.  I am Emma, an outdoor photographer and lover of the natural world.  I grew up in Kent, spending many a long summer caravanning in the depths of the Kent and East Sussex countryside, where we were often the only caravan surrounded by sheep or geese. For weeks on end the peaceful marshes, beautiful beaches and inland waterways were our playground and I believe my love of tranquility and the outdoors were truly founded then.

Having spent most of my life happily snapping away with a compact camera, I actually only discovered 'landscape photography' in my forties and it opened my eyes to a whole new world.  I was hooked and haven't looked back ever since.

I will mostly be found out at dawn, when the world is still and quiet, often at the water's edge, capturing nature at it's best.  I love to share my images in the hope to inspire others and teach others to get the most out of their camera, see the world as I do and take their photography further.

I have been fortunate to have been shortlisted in a number of international photography competitions such as UK Landscape Photographer of the Year, Close-up Photographer of the Year and NatureTTL Photographer of the year.  I have had a number of publications such as in the Daily Telegraph, featured in DigitalSLR Magazine and on the front cover of Kent Life Magazine.  You can find out more on my Landscapes page.
