My Photography Journey
Life can take you in weird and wonderful ways and it took me some time to find my 'calling'. A degree in Environmental Science (which fuelled my love of the natural world) led me to a career in the Energy sector. Twenty years on and a redundancy in June 2017 came with the opportunity of a lifetime - a chance to retrain. With my trusty old camera in hand I excitedly attended a variety of photography workshops covering landscapes, weddings, portraits and sports photography. Each course opened my eyes to new skills and ignited a love of photography which had been bubbling under the surface all my life. A passion was born.
My photography journey has continued ever since and with the wonderful support from my family and friends I have gone from selling a few prints at a local school Christmas market to fulfilling bespoke canvas orders, selling prints online, photographing weddings, family portraits and carrying out work for local community groups, schools and businesses.
I have been fortunate enough to have images in print in local, regional and national press as well as being nominated as one of my home town's Inspirational Women in 2018. So this is me in a nutshell. I really hope you enjoy looking around my website and if you have any questions, please get in touch.
